Acceptable Use Policy
You may use BirdSaid
for lawful personal transcription, note-taking and private speaker labelling in recordings you are entitled to process, subject to participant notice and applicable law.
You may not
- record people covertly or without legally required notice or permission;
- create or use voiceprints to identify strangers, authenticate people, track them across contexts, or build a shared identity database;
- use BirdSaid for organisational, workplace or professional purposes;
- use outputs for employment, housing, education, credit, insurance, healthcare, policing, immigration or other high-impact decisions;
- process children's voices or target services to children;
- infer emotion, health, protected traits, truthfulness, intent or criminal propensity from a voice;
- upload unlawful, infringing, malicious, classified or export-controlled content;
- harass, discriminate, defraud, impersonate, surveil or violate another person's rights;
- bypass access, jurisdiction, usage, safety, billing or technical limits;
- probe or disrupt the service, introduce malware, automate abusive requests or attempt cross-tenant access; or
- resell BirdSaid or transfer prepaid minutes without written permission.
Enforcement
Praeco may investigate credible reports, limit processing, suspend access, preserve evidence required by law, and report unlawful conduct where legally required. We will consider context and proportionality and, where safe, give notice and an opportunity to remedy.
